Update Your LinkedIn URL and Website Addresses

Virtually everything you’re doing on social media can have a positive impact on how easily people can find you when they’re searching on the Internet.  Therefore, you want to ensure that you’re giving Google (or Yahoo or Bing, or other search engines) plenty of good information for it to find so that people can find YOU!

Today, you’re going to make your LinkedIn profile easier to find and easier to forward.

First, you’ll need to be sure you’ve claimed your personal URL so the website address that is unique to your profile is customized to your name.

Second, you’re going to customize the way your company website(s) appear in your profile.  Most people merely list “My Company” or “My Website,” but today you’ll rename those links with something more meaningful.
